President Trump recently spoke with National Political Editor & Washington Correspondent for Scripps, Joe St. George, about the prospects of another stimulus package, indicating that something would be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Currently, the Heroes Act is the only stimulus package passed in either chamber and provides for $1,200 for adults and child dependants up to three. This would be up to a total of $6,000 per income-qualifying household.  

This bill would cost $3 trillion and is not likely to pass. Other ideas on the table include back to work bonuses and payroll tax cuts. 

“No matter what gets announced, we should all expect it to be the last act of stimulus. Senator McConnell has said that the next round of stimulus legislation will be the final one.”
