Americans can expect to receive a second round of stimulus money in the coming weeks. Continued efforts to stem the novel coronavirus has caused Congress to issue a second wave of payments to American families.
Initial reports suggest that payments will only be made to families making less than $40,000 per year. This essentially covers low-income families. The White House has not issued any comments on the accuracy of that claim.
“Speaking of building on what worked in the CARES Act, we want another round of direct payments, direct payments to help American families keep driving our national comeback,” McConnell said.
