Smaller US cities are becoming hot spots for real estate during the coronavirus pandemic.
Mitch Roschelle, a founder of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC’s) Real Estate Advisory practice, said that he has recently observed two trends that have been accelerated by the virus.
Those trends are people moving from high-tax states to low-tax states and young families moving from the cities to the suburbs.
Several cities in Florida and Arizona have seen an uptick in people moving from high-tax states to take advantage of the lower taxes in those areas.
Many in Florida, and other states throughout the country, are moving from larger cities to the suburbs.
